The Theme for Creations in Fiber 2010
is Desserts! How much fun is that.
I have created a Scholarship Challenge
for the occasion and you have until April of 2010 to create one or more Scholarship dolls with this theme and enter into the Challenge.
Here are the rules...
Make a dessert from the pattern pieces you receive. Take a picture of her and send it along to me. The picture must be in JPG format.
The dolls will be put up for auction at the site and when the winner is announced, you will mail the doll to the winner of the auction. When you mail your doll, be sure and include the recipe for the dessert. You can enter as many times as you like. Just think of all the desserts out there!
The pattern will be available to you for a scholarship donation of $5.00
This is to assure that if you don't get the doll made, the scholarship still gets something from the specially designed pattern.
The prize for your participation will be $50.00 in patterns from the site.
The deadline the challenge is April 1st, 2010
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Creations in Fiber Conference. You really should check it out. The fees for attendance is nominal. The room rate is unbeatable, and the fund and memories are priceless.
And the teachers....well what can I say...they are fabulous.
